• Wool (16 colors): The primary palette for pixel art — white, light gray, gray, black, brown, red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, light blue, blue, purple, magenta, and pink. Wool provides the widest color range in Minecraft.
• Terracotta & Glazed Variants: Earthy browns, reds, and whites that fill mid-tone gaps not well covered by wool. Uncolored terracotta adds a warm orange-brown reference point.
• Stone & Natural Blocks: Stone, cobblestone, granite, diorite, andesite, gravel, sand, sandstone, dirt, grass, ice, snow, and packed ice provide neutral grays, beiges, and cold blues for landscapes.
• Metal, Gem & Special Blocks: Gold, iron, diamond, emerald, lapis, redstone, obsidian, glowstone, sea lantern, magma, and purpur add vivid accent colors for logos, emblems, and high-contrast art.

Floyd-Steinberg ditheringis an error-diffusion algorithm that reduces the visual banding caused by mapping a full-color image to a limited palette. When the generator assigns a block to a cell, the difference between the original pixel color and the chosen block color (the “quantization error”) is distributed to neighboring cells — 7/16 right, 3/16 lower-left, 5/16 below, 1/16 lower-right. This causes neighboring blocks to compensate for the error, producing smooth gradients and more visually accurate reproductions, especially in photographs. Disabling dithering gives cleaner, flatter results better suited for logos and bold graphics with hard color boundaries.
