About Inserting Pages into PDF

What is PDF Page Insertion?

Inserting pages into a PDF allows you to merge content from a secondary document (the insertion PDF) into a specific location of a primary document. Instead of recreating the entire document or combining files end-to-end, our tool lets you place pages at the very beginning, at the end, or right after any specific page in the target document.

Client-Side Security and Convenience

Like all of our tools, the page insertion process is completed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. This ensures that your private files are never uploaded to our servers, giving you 100% security and privacy for confidential legal agreements, reports, or invoices.

Key Features

Granular Insertion Controls

Specify exactly where you want to insert your new pages. Place them at the beginning, the end, or after any page number in the primary document.

Selective Source Page Extraction

Choose to insert all pages from the source PDF or select specific pages to insert using an interactive preview grid.

100% Client-Side Processing

No uploads, no servers, and no data leaks. Everything runs securely on your computer.

Common Use Cases

Adding Cover Pages

Easily insert a beautifully designed cover page or table of contents PDF at the beginning of a document report.

Inserting Addendums and Appendices

Append extra documentation, forms, or signatures at the end of contracts or legal briefs.

Adding Missing Pages Mid-Document

If a page was missed or updated in a long report, insert the single replacement page at the exact page index where it belongs.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I insert pages at a specific position?
Upload your main target PDF and the source PDF containing the pages you want to insert. In the settings panel, choose "After Page..." and specify the page number. The new pages will be placed directly after that page.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All processing is executed client-side in your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to any remote servers, ensuring that confidential data remains entirely private.
Can I insert only specific pages from the source PDF?
Yes. When you upload the source PDF, you will see a preview grid where you can select specific pages. Only the selected pages will be copied into the target PDF. If you do not select any pages, the entire document will be inserted by default.
Are there any limits on file sizes or page numbers?
There are no hard limitations on file size, but performance depends on your browser and computer memory. For large files (over 100MB), the process may take several seconds.
